Bellbird Rise (demo) · Part 3 of 9

Building Grade 5 English and Maths paths from the library

A learning path is the route a class works through, subject by subject and topic by topic. At Bellbird Rise every topic is taught only from the library material mapped to it. In this part Daniel builds Grade 5 English and Grade 5 Maths from the school’s own resources. Both are shaped to the Victorian Curriculum strands, and assigned to class 5A.

About this video

Part 3 of a series that follows one primary school on Qwizflow from nothing to a working, school-library-only Year 5. Bellbird Rise Primary School is a fictional Melbourne school created for this demo. In this video the Year 5 teacher selects resources in the school library and has the AI draft a learning path from them, then reshapes it to the Victorian Curriculum strands: Language, Literature and Literacy for English, and Number, Algebra, Measurement, Space, Statistics and Probability for Maths. Every topic is taught from exactly one of the school’s resources. Both paths are published for Year 5 and assigned to class 5A. Everyone shown is a demo account. The sample resources are original material organised by Victorian Curriculum 2.0 Level 5 strands; the school and this series are not affiliated with the VCAA.
