A Year 5 learner joins, a parent gives consent

Charlie is a Year 5 learner at Bellbird Rise, and Sam is Charlie’s parent. In this part Charlie joins class 5A with the teacher’s code, and finds both school paths waiting. Because Charlie is a child, AI features need a parent’s consent, so Sam links to Charlie’s account and chooses them. Then Charlie opens the first topic. Everyone shown is a demo account.

Part 4 of a series that follows one primary school on Qwizflow from nothing to a working, school-library-only Year 5. Bellbird Rise Primary School is a fictional Melbourne school created for this demo. In this video a Year 5 learner opens the app for the first time, joins class 5A with the teacher’s code, and finds both school learning paths waiting. Because AI features for a child need a parent’s consent, the learner shows a code to a parent, who links the accounts and turns on chosen AI features one at a time in the AI Consent Centre. The learner then opens the first English topic and works through a study guide written only from the school’s own resource. Everyone shown is a demo account.
