Qwizflow is free to use for all Australian students aged 5 to 18, and free of advertisements, tracking pixels and any sale of your data. No card is needed to sign up or to keep using it. Every feature — including the AI Socratic Tutor, Homework Helper, Story Writer, adaptive quizzes, and personalised learning paths — is available to every student, and every student gets our premium AI included with a daily allowance for text, voice and images that resets each morning. Reach the allowance and the app switches to a lighter mode rather than stopping. Families who want more AI than the daily allowance provides can top up a shared credit wallet; top-ups are optional, never needed to keep learning, and only a parent or a student aged 16 or over can buy them — a student under 16 can only send a parent a request to approve or decline.

Qwizflow is built for learners aged 5 to 18, with a curriculum catalogue spanning Foundation (Prep) to Year 10 in Australia, and Kindergarten to Grade 10 in the US. Content, quizzes, and learning paths automatically adjust difficulty based on the student’s year level and performance. Younger students like Mia in Year 4 get age-appropriate fractions and science quizzes, while Year 9 and 10 students work through more complex topics in chemistry, physics, and mathematics. The AI tutor adapts its language and scaffolding to match each learner’s level.

Qwizflow’s learning paths, quizzes and study guides are structured on the Australian Curriculum v9 — its six learning areas and their strands, Foundation to Year 10 — with US K–12 standards (Common Core for English and Maths, NGSS for Science) as the second curriculum. Each topic is organised by year level, subject and strand, so what students practise here lines up with what they are learning at school. We do not claim a per-question mapping to individual ACARA content description codes. Teachers can see which topics their class has practised and where mastery is still developing.

Absolutely. Qwizflow was built from the ground up with child safety in mind. All AI features require explicit parental consent for children under 16. Student data is stored in Australia (Firebase Melbourne region) and personal information is scrubbed before any content reaches AI providers. Data is never used to train AI models. Parents control exactly which AI features their child can access through the granular AI Consent Centre.

Yes. Parents manage granular AI consent through the Parent Dashboard’s AI Consent Centre. Each AI feature can be individually enabled or disabled with a simple toggle. For children under 16, only a parent or guardian can grant consent. Students aged 16 and above can self-consent, though parents retain the ability to override settings. When multiple parents are linked to a student account, the most restrictive consent setting applies, and both parents are notified of any changes.

Yes. The voice-native Socratic tutor lets you speak naturally and hear responses back in one of five voice personas — Maya (warm Australian), Aria (bright American), Liam (calm British), Tom (energetic Australian), or Professor Owl (wise British narrator). The tutor adapts its tone to how you are feeling: calmer when you are frustrated, brighter when you are curious. Voice runs through Google Cloud TTS in the Sydney region with a daily budget that resets at midnight. Voice features inherit the AI Quiz Generation parental consent for students under 16.

The Stuck Helper kicks in three ways. First, every quiz question has a Read-Aloud button — tap it to hear the question read aloud. Second, if you are idle for too long, an "I'm Stuck" owl appears with three options (hint, read aloud, or discussion). Third, you can launch Discussion Mode where two AI characters — Scout and Sage — debate the question out loud in different voices while you listen. If you are still stuck after that, you can ping your teacher with a one-tap Ask Teacher request that includes a PII-scrubbed brief.
