Qwizflow changes shape with your age. Under-13s get Kids World: a picture-first, tap-only quest kingdom with read-aloud tutors, encouragement-only streaks and no free-text input. Years 7–10 get Teen Studio: a sleeker look with podcasts, debates, streaks and study tools. Parents and teachers get their own dashboards with full AI controls, and can switch into Kids World or Teen Studio themselves to see exactly what their child sees. That switch only ever narrows: a teenager can preview Kids World, nobody can preview a surface older than their own age band, and an under-13's Kids World cannot be switched off from the browser.

When you get stuck on a question, two 3D characters — Scout (the curious one) and Sage (the wise one) — actually voice-act a short Socratic discussion of the problem. Their mouths lip-sync to the speech using ARKit visemes, and their mood shifts (calm, curious, excited, happy) to match the conversation. Free to use, and free of advertisements, tracking pixels and any sale of your data — that part has no asterisk. No card is needed to sign up or to keep using Qwizflow. Every student gets our best AI included, with a daily allowance for text, voice and images that resets each morning; reach it and the app switches to a lighter mode rather than stopping. Families who want more AI than the daily allowance provides can top up a shared credit wallet. Top-ups are optional, never needed to keep learning, and only a parent or a student aged 16 or over can buy them — a child under 16 can only send a parent a request to approve or decline.

All data is stored in Australia (Firebase Melbourne region), voice synthesis runs in Sydney, personal information is scrubbed before reaching AI providers, and parents control exactly which AI feature their child can access. The Parent Transparency Ledger lets you see every AI interaction with PII-scrubbed summaries plus one-click context erasure.

Six learning areas per country — English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (Social Studies in the US), Technologies, and The Arts — structured on the Australian Curriculum v9 and US K–12 standards, from Foundation/Kindergarten to Year/Grade 10. That comes to 13,200 topics, and the topic picker scopes itself to your own year level so you are not scrolling past Grade 10 work in Year 3. On top of that: 11 Languages as a subject, and Religious Studies (Hindu and Swaminarayan traditions), which stays off unless both a parent and a teacher opt in.

Students can talk to a Socratic AI tutor in five voice personas (Maya, Aria, Liam, Tom, and Professor Owl) covering Australian, US, and British accents. The tutor adapts its tone to how the student is feeling — calmer when frustrated, brighter when curious — via the affective mood system. Voice runs through Google Cloud TTS in the Sydney region with a per-student daily budget. Voice features inherit the AI Quiz Generation consent for children under 16.

Yes. The AI Consent Centre lets parents individually enable or disable each AI feature, with plain-English explanations banded for under-13, 13–15, 16–17 and 18+. For children under 16, only a parent can grant consent; students aged 16–17 can self-consent, and parents can still override. The age band is worked out on the server from the recorded date of birth — the app never takes an age or a tier from the browser — so a consent gate cannot be talked around by editing the page. The Parent Transparency Ledger shows every AI interaction your child has had, and now includes a Learning progress tab with per-subject and per-topic mastery.

The whole app — menus, quizzes, consent forms and all — is fully translated into English (Australian and Indian), Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Arabic and Chinese. Tamil, Telugu and Vietnamese are part-way there: pick one and your tutors will still write and speak to you in it, though some menus fall back to English while the translations catch up. That's separate from Languages as a subject: 11 courses — Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Mandarin, Arabic, Vietnamese, Spanish, French and Japanese — each with ten strands from script and sounds through to conversations and travel.
