The same spaced-repetition deck an adult gets, reached through a grid of named pictures instead of a text field — an under-13 chooses a topic without needing to spell it.

What happens, step by step
1.The under-13 flashcard picker opens on a grid of choices.
2.Every choice is a picture with its name written underneath, so a child who is still learning to read can still find what they want.
3.There is no text box anywhere on this screen. Open-ended typing is absent from the under-13 shell by construction, not filtered after the fact.
4.One tap starts the deck.
Each step is a checked assertion in our automated test suite (scene “kid-flashcards”, 4 acceptance criteria). If it stops being true, the test fails and this page loses its clip.
